Choosing your wedding photographer is as important as choosing your partner. I jest (a little bit), but it really is so important. I promise you it won’t be love at first sight but, it has been said, it takes two minutes to fall in love with me and my photography…….
Planning your wedding is an amazing experience. You will make so many investments and not just financial ones, you will invest yourself, your time and your emotions. Finding the right wedding suppliers can make the whole experience soo much more fun and ensure that your wedding runs perfectly.
Your wedding photos are the lasting memories of your perfect day. Once the dress is packed away, the flowers are wilted and the cake has been eaten, your wedding photographs are the magic that keep your memories alive and that you will look at again and again.
By choosing me to capture your wedding our relationship will start with a consultation to talk through all your plans for your day, your venue, your timings, your wedding party – I want to know about ALL aspects of your amazing wedding day. If you have any question marks over any suppliers, I am always happy to recommend people and places I have worked with.
Your wedding photographer is often with you from the beginning of the day, while you are getting ready, right the way through to the first dance and beyond, so it really helps if you actually like them. They will be interacting with you, with your guests and with your other suppliers so it helps if they are nice! I pride myself on getting on with everyone immediately. We don’t want any awkward moments in front of the camera so my fun and engaging personality will put you and your wedding guests at ease straight away and at times you won’t even know that I am there, but one thing I will promise you is that we will have fun and even people who are uncomfortable having their photo taken will have a great time and love the images I produce.
I pride myself on having state of the art equipment and a skill set to match. Not only will I make you all feel totally at ease, I am exceptionally technically skilled so taking your photos is just the beginning. You, your partner, your guests and your wedding memories are in safe hands from the capturing of the photographs to the timeless editing of the images and the creation of your bespoke wall art and wedding albums.
One of the reasons for meeting you both before your wedding day and learning all about your plans for the best day of your lives is so that I can start to plan my creative vision for your photography. I want to come up with ideas that will translate into brilliant wedding photos. No two weddings are the same so off the shelf, standard wedding photography is not what I do. I regularly come up with new and unique creative concepts which I will bring to your wedding photographs. I will have visited and / or researched your venue so we know in advance where to go to get the best shots. As each moment of your day unfolds, I want to ensure that I capture it – and I capture it beautifully. Some of those moments you will be aware that I am capturing, some will be the most precious surprise when you receive your gallery as you won’t even have been aware I was there.
The number of weddings I commit to is limited – this ensures you get the full priority in the lead up to your wedding day, on your wedding day itself and during the editing process afterwards. Your wedding will have my full attention. Although I am based in Essex my love for photographing weddings takes me all over the UK and beyond.
